Designed for the New Zealand Defence Force to conduct a variety of training exercises, the full scale Boeing 777 aircraft simulator or mock-up contains actual aircraft Passenger Access Doors, internal fit out items including overhead lockers, galleys and Nose Wheels. The aircraft mock up was custom designed and built by SPIIND to meet NZDF's rugged training exercise needs.

On board electrical systems include ventilation, extraction, lighting, communications and CCTV.
