South Pacific Industrial was established in 1972 when Ross Mackenzie started the business as an instrument contracting company. Approximately 20 years ago, SPI moved into mechanical engineering and this aspect of the business has grown significantly, so that today we now provide services and products that are 90% mechanical based.
